Dr. Wally Liles - Bass

Dr. Wally Liles lives in Mena, AR. He is an optometrist with three clinics in western Arkansas. Wally has sung bass in southern gospel and barbershop quartets since the age of 16. He and his wife Shirley have been music/choir directors/musicians in churches in Jonesboro, AR., Nashville, TN., Houston, TX., and Fort Smith, AR. He is the manager/booking agent for NWQ.Occasionally, Shirley plays keyboard for the quartet. They have 4 children and 4 grandchildren.

 

 

Jeff Hindmarsh - Lead

Jeff Hindmarsh lives in Conway, AR. He grew up in Fort Smith and sang in the Youth Choir, which was directed by Dr. Wally Liles. While attending Northside Christian Academy, he participated in vocal competitions winning 1st place in Arkansas and in the top 10 nationally. He was a soloist in the Greater Arkansas Mass Choir as a teenager. He is an original member of NWQ. Jeff works in oil/gas explorations. He, his wife Mindy, and son Tyson Elliott attend First Pentecostal Church of Bryant, AR.

 

 

 

Brian Rushing - Tenor

Brian Rushing lives in White Hall, AR. with his wife Wendie, and sons Jacob and Ashton. They attend The Apostolic Church in DeWitt, AR. Brian has been a minister for 10 years and recently served 4 years as Arkansas District Youth President. He began singing with NWQ in August, 2009. He states that in prayer for direction, God opened the door with this group of men. He is excited to travel and minister in song and ending some concerts/services with a sermon. He is a builder of residential homes.

 

 

 

Gary Kindy, Jr. - Baritone

Gary Kindy lives in Muldrow, OK. with his wife Janet, and children Harrison, Hudson, Chloe, and Jackson. They attend Northside Church in Ft. Smith. Gary has always enjoyed southern gospel music and his first experience began when Dr. Liles asked him to sing Lead in the local church quartet three years ago. Then in June 2009, Gary began to sing baritone and travel with New Way Quartet, which is fulfilling his lifelong dream. Gary owns Crawson Corporation, which manufactures commercial cabinetry mostly in hospitals in the south.
