News Update!!! - Tuesday, April 07, 2009

New Way Quartet has had a great first quarter of 2009. We have been on the road every one or two weeks and have been blessed with some really good services and singings. We have traveled to several dates in Arkansas and Oklahoma. We have met some wonderful new friends and renewed friendships with ones we have met in the past.

We have some new announcements to tell you about. Wally Liles III and Shane Spears have decided to stop traveling with New Way and we are really going to miss them greatly. Our new members are Gary Kindy, Jr. and Brian Rushing.  Gary is from Fort Smith, AR and Brian is from White Hall, AR. Check the web site for new pictures and bios in the near future.  Meanwhile, I invite you to come hear New Way when we are in your area.

NWQ On the Road - Monday, May 19, 2008

NWQ had the pleasure of being the closing group for the 2nd annual Gospel Fest hosted by White Hall United Pentecostal Church in Pine Bluff.  It was a beautiful day full of good food, lots of fellowship and a long list of great gospel music artists.  Thanks to Pastor Hill and the fine people at WHUPC for being so hospitable and making it a great day!  A special hats-off goes to the great music and sound crew at WHUPC for all of their flexibility in working with NWQ as well as all of the other groups.  Thanks again!

NWQ also had the honor of meeting and spending some time with Crosspoint Quartet.  Crosspoint is a wonderful group of guys whose heart for ministry was evident as they sang to the crowd at Gospel Fest.  Keep up the great work Crosspoint!

NWQ rounded out the weekend with a wonderful service at Christian Life Center in Little Rock.  Pastor Clifford, his family, and their staff were wonderful hosts, as usual, and the great people of CLC made NWQ feel right at home.  Thank the Lord for a wonderful service full of celebration of the great things of God!

A special thanks goes to the Hindmarsh family for so warmly opening up their home to NWQ.  You guys are wonderful!

NWQ will be off for a couple weeks until the annual concert at Northside in Fort Smith on June 8.

New Way Quartet Releases New CD - Tuesday, May 29, 2007
"It is with great pleasure that we announce the release of our new project," says Dr. Wally Liles, founder and manager of the group.  "It is always a neat experience to record and work on a project so others can hopefully enjoy our singing."
Dr. Liles said that after two former menbers of the group resigned  in 2006  he thought of letting the NWQ become dormant, but after much consideration he was unable to do that. After much thouight and prayer he found two excellent replacements in Shane Spears, tenor, and Wally Liles III, baritone and decided to keep on singing.

"We immediately contacted  the studio and started working on a new project with the new members. We are a part-time group so therefore we are an indie group. We recorded at Oak Valley Studios in Nashville, TN with Kevin McManus as engineer."  Liles said.

Wally Liles III took a very active role as producer of the project and we are happy with the final product.
